Right to repair - opportunities for retailers

The new EU "Right to Repair" regulation (April 2024) brings both challenges and opportunities for consumers and retailers. According to GFK and ZVEI, high repair costs, long waiting times and a lack of transparency have often led to the purchase of new electrical appliances. The new regulation aims to remove these hurdles and provide new impetus for the spare parts market.
