KommR (Councillor of Commerce) Gerhard Spitzbart, Guild Master of the Bundesinnung der Tischler und Holzgestalter (Federal Guild of Carpenters and Wood Designers) in Austria, on the transformation of the carpentry industry:

“As with many other sectors of the economy, the carpentry industry is subject to constant change. Carpenters are no longer viewed by their customers as merely specialists in interior construction and the production of high-quality furniture. Customers now also expect creative solutions for the entire living area with suggestions for the right sofa, atmospheric lighting solutions and even the optimal slatted frame and mattress. With the right products, not only can we offer our customers appealing kitchen and living room solutions, but we can also secure our positions as local furniture suppliers.

An attractive mixture of trade products and tailor-made solutions also helps generate additional revenue and cushion any fluctuations in orders. küchenwohntrends und möbel austria offers an ideal environment for gaining a compact overview of the different exhibitors and their products in the shortest time possible and for making important trade contacts for the future.”

Wilhelm Hofer, authorised representative of Schachermayer-Großhandelsgesellschaft m.b.H, on taking part in küchenwohntrends und möbel austria 2017:

“For our companies, küchenwohntrends und möbel austria has gained considerably in importance as a trade fair in the Alps-Adriatic region. The targeted industries are precisely our target groups and the catchment area corresponds to our home market. Can we do anything other here than strengthen our commitment? Strategically, that would be a mistake. It is in our nature to emerge, full steam ahead, in the right place at the right time. In other words, we are intensifying our efforts, expanding our trade fair stand and taking advantage of the excellent framework conditions to present Schachermayer to the different industries in the perfect way. And, in all honesty, I am personally a great fan of küchenwohntrends und möbel austria – the excellent trade fair organisation, the special trade fair flair and the different visitors from all industries!”
