STRASSER Steine – the future of the kitchen

With a market share of around 65 per cent, STRASSER Steine GmbH is the Austrian market leader in the field of high-quality kitchen worktops made of natural stone, ceramic and Alpinova, as well as the largest producer in Central Europe. The company has been producing in the Mühlviertel region of Upper Austria, the heartland of granite, for almost 60 years. By founding its own sales company in Kösching near Ingolstadt, the company has also had a nationwide presence on the German market since the beginning of 2016. International sales are handled by specialised kitchen and furniture retailers.

STRASSER Steine's production focuses on high-quality kitchen worktops, which include the first RE-STONING kitchen worktops - ALPINOVA - in addition to natural stone worktops. Following the successful market launch of these, STRASSER is now going one step further: with ALPINOVA Cubo, the company is launching the world's first kitchen fronts made from recycled natural stone. This innovation opens up the possibility of designing complete monolithic kitchen islands from the sustainable material ALPINOVA. ALPINOVA Cubo combines modern design with ecological responsibility and sends a strong signal in favour of a sustainable future. STRASSER is expanding its range to include matching kitchen carcasses in order to optimally support the kitchen and furniture trade.

A clear favourite among kitchen trends in recent years has been natural stone worktops, which attract attention with their many extravagant colours and which have been launched on the market by STRASSER in many cases. The return to regionality is also experiencing an unprecedented significance and the issue of sustainability is now a daily concern.
