küchenwohntrends and möbel austria with innovative "lebensraum" special show
Exhibitor list already reads like a who's who of the industry
Strengthening the tried-and-tested aspects of the established trade fair concept and creating new presentation opportunities with innovative formats - that's what makes küchenwohntrends and möbel austria so special. A new highlight of the top-class business duo, which will take place in Salzburg from 7 to 9 May 2025, is the special show "lebensraum". In this unique presentation area, the "Kitchen Dining Living" rooms merge into a harmonised overall presentation. The live experience, the immersion in real living worlds, takes centre stage. This special show is being implemented at the trade fair for the first time due to its enormous potential for success for exhibitors and the inspiration and sales opportunities it offers visitors.
The seventh edition of the küchenwohntrends and möbel austria trade fair will once again provide the furnishing industry with an excellent platform for presenting its products to a high-caliber trade audience. At the modern exhibition grounds in the spectacularly idyllic Mozart city of Salzburg, decision-makers from industry, specialist trade, crafts, real estate furnishings, architecture and project development will meet a portfolio of exhibitors that covers all aspects of contemporary interior design. While names such as Ada, Anrei, Joka, RMW, Miaa Charakterwohnen, Signet, Voglauer and Wimmer stand for top-class furnishings, Ballerina, Häcker, Leicht, Nolte, Nobilia and Rotpunkt, among others, will be bringing modern kitchens to Salzburg. Sebastian Dunkl, Export Sales Manager at Schüller Möbelwerk KG, makes a clear statement about the B2B event: “The trade fair duo has established itself well on the market. For us, küchenwohntrends is a great opportunity to enter into dialog with the specialist trade and present the strengths of Schüller and next125.” Theres Sudbrock, Managing Director of Sudbrock GmbH Möbelwerk, can only agree: “As a system manufacturer, our family business Sudbrock offers a rare manufacturing quality that we would like to showcase for the first time in Salzburg: highly individualized unique pieces of furniture with exceptional workmanship made from sustainably sourced regional wood, which can be easily expanded into integrated furnishing concepts. We are looking forward to Austria!”
The appliance manufacturers, who are also prominently represented, ensure technical convenience. Many of them are exhibiting once again: "The BSH Group has been an exhibitor at küchenwohntrends in Salzburg for years," says Ulrike Pesta, Head of AT/SM, BSH Hausgeräte Gesellschaft mbH. "We appreciate the great atmosphere and even more the good discussions with our customers. Our brands are excellently presented there. We are looking forward to küchenwohntrends in 2025." AEG, Beko, Bora, Elektrolux, Gorenje, Liebherr, Miele and many other appliance manufacturers are also looking forward to their participation. Suppliers such as Blum, Häfele, Hera, Schachermayer, Speedmaster and Vogt will also be presenting their new products. The exhibitor portfolio is rounded off by manufacturers of fittings, sinks, worktops and other components. In this segment, too, the who's who of the industry will be present: for example, AKP, Carat, Blanco, Quooker, Schock, Systemceram and Strasser Steine, the largest natural stone processor in Austria. For the Managing Director of Strasser, Johannes Artmayr, the trade fair double is a good antidote to the challenging market situation: "The best way to counter crises is with a firework display of unique innovations! With a new trade fair stand concept, we will inspire both our loyal and potential new customers - our highlights will also be in the spotlight here."
Speaking of the spotlight - effective highlights on the latest developments in kitchens and living are not only provided by the individual manufacturer exhibitions, but also by the unique special show “lebensraum”, with which the trade fair organizers are establishing a new format that will now also be on show for the first time at küchenwohntrends and möbel austria. The idea behind it is as simple as it is captivating: living has changed. Kitchens have become warmer and more homely, dining areas are no longer just for eating, sofas and lounge chairs have become relaxation zones. Cooking, communicating, celebrating, playing, reading, eating - all this and much more now takes place in the center of the entire living space, in the “living space”. The ideas that manufacturers have for this newly composed space can be seen in Salzburg in a compact and condensed form in the special show “lebensraum”. The ideas that manufacturers have for this newly composed space can be seen in Salzburg in a compact and condensed form in the special show “lebensraum”. The concept was recently used at the swiss interior expo 2024 - and was so successful there that it is now going into the next round. For manufacturers, this means that they can showcase how their products fit into a trendy and contemporary living environment with little effort, either exclusively or in addition to their own trade fair presence. In this way, the organizers of küchenwohntrends and möbel austria have established another plus point for the trade fair duo and opened the door wide for trade fair concepts of the future. This benefits exhibitors and buyers alike - and ultimately, of course, the person who is actually at stake: the end customer, for whom stylish and contemporary solutions are promoted in Salzburg.
küchenwohntrends, together with möbel austria, has developed into the largest trade fair for furnishing and kitchens in the German-speaking region. Its appeal extends far beyond Austria's borders and attracts visitors from Germany and other neighboring countries. The concept of “100% qualified trade visitors” coupled with the many services of the modern exhibition center, including parking on the doorstep, is what makes the B2B event so attractive. The excellent connection to the highway, the interesting flight connections from Hamburg, Berlin, Düsseldorf and Frankfurt to the attractive tourism and trade fair city of Salzburg round off the desirability. The excellent price-performance ratio for hotels and services at the exhibition center ensure a budget-friendly trade fair.
