The prize for residential innovations 2025
The award for home innovations at möbel austria & küchenwohntrends puts the spotlight on the creativity and commitment of the exhibiting companies.
The award demonstrates the high quality and diversity of the products and services on offer and recognises them in equal measure. It creates an incentive for further innovations.
The awarding of the prize will highlight both trends and the latest state of the art using innovative examples.
The award ceremony will take place on the evening of 7 May 2025 at 6 p.m. as part of a festive event.
Focus on innovation
The award recognises innovative products that create added value for customers, users or society.
The following criteria are taken into account in the evaluation by the expert jury:
- Originality: How novel and creative is the innovation compared to existing solutions?
- The relevance: How well does the innovation fulfil the needs and expectations of the target group?
- Effectiveness: How high is the benefit or added value generated by the innovation?
- Sustainability: How ecologically, socially and economically compatible is the innovation?
- Scalability: How well can the innovation be anchored in existing markets?
The awards are given in the following categories:

| 5 | Kitchen equipment | Taps, sinks, waste systems, storage solutions |
| 6 | Upholstered furniture | Sofas, armchairs, sofa beds |
| 7 | Sleep systems | Mattresses, slatted frames, beds |
| 8 | Chairs, benches, tables | Armchairs, benches, dining tables |
| 9 | Home accessories | Coffee tables, side tables, clothes racks, tableware, acoustic solutions, floor coverings, upholstery fabrics |
